What will your work day look like?
As a Senior Buyer specializing in Mechanical, Industrial Plumbing and Electrical, you will play a key role in the company's procurement process, with a focus on the efficient acquisition of materials and services related to these areas specific. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic purchasing strategies in collaboration with the Director of Procurement, while working closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure stakeholder satisfaction and efficiency operational. Your functions more precisely would be:

- Design, implement and optimize purchasing strategies specific to mechanics, industrial plumbing and electricity, aligned with the company's overall objectives;
- Identify, evaluate and select reliable and competent suppliers in the fields of mechanics, industrial plumbing and electricity;
- Negotiate advantageous contracts in terms of costs, deadlines and quality;
- Work collaboratively with suppliers to identify cost reduction opportunities while maintaining high standards of quality and performance;
- Monitor technological developments, industrial standards and regulations specific to mechanics, industrial plumbing and electricity to anticipate changes and adapt supplies accordingly;
- Ensure contractual compliance and ensure terms and conditions are respected. Renegotiate contracts if necessary;
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing performance, savings achieved, identified risks and improvement initiatives.

Carry out all other related tasks linked to the smooth running of the company's activities.

You have :
- DEC in administration (procurement) or equivalent experience
- 3 to 7 years of relevant experience
- Experience related to the construction sector would be an asset
- Fluency in English (oral and written) to ensure fluid and effective communication with our English-speaking suppliers (an asset)
- Mastery of the MS Office suite, mainly Excel and Outlook
